San San HD Concealer

I am not really planning of purchasing a new concealer because it's Frugal February and I'm in a shopping ban but when I came across and saw this "HD Line" from HBC I thought I'd give them a try since I have been seeing a lot of local bloggers posting good reviews about San San's high definition line. It is very affordable too that's why I did not hesitate anymore to spend and give one of the products in the line, the this HD concealer a shot.
One thing I HATE about San San cosmetics ever since is their packaging (referring to the light blue plastic packaging here) but with this one I am really impressed. The metallic purple packaging made the product look really expensive. The concealer comes in a twist-pen type applicator which I do love and prefer as it is more convenient to bring around.
The only thing I dislike about this pen is that the hole in it is pretty big. It tends to dispense quite a lot of product so you really need to be careful when twisting this pen.
There are only there shades available — Natural, Beige and Olive. I believe I got the wrong shade (Olive) and let's blame the yellow-ish lighting of the store. Olive is a tad bit dark for my skin. Beige I suppose is the perfect shade for me as it is much lighter compared with this one.
Talking about shades, I hope they will soon have a wider range of concealer and foundation shades. Three shades is not enough. Raise your hand if you agree!
The concealer is unscented which I really liked. I stay away from scented scented (except lip products) cosmetics since it can cause headache and breakouts.
THE FORMULA and LONGEVITY:
The formula is matte which I like because I have an oily skin. The consistency of this concealer is a little thicker (but does not feel heavy) compared to the other concealers I am using but just enough to be able to properly cover my dark spots and blemishes. It dries quickly too so I suggest that you use your fingers for blending this one as it warms the product and makes the application a lot easier. As for the staying power, the San San HD Concealer lasts for a good 4-5 hour on me and I only experience very minimal creasing after. Swiping powder can combat the creasing so no biggie.
Overall, I am really impressed with this San San HD concealer and I am for sure, going to re-purchase this one (lighter shade this time!). The packaging is really nice and it's performance is really great considering its price Php 105.00 (approx. $2.50). I might try the liquid foundation from this HD line too since it looks promising as well.
