(L-R): Cool Rum & Tomato
These little matte blushes from a local brand called Nichido have been a favorite of mine for quite a long time now, and that is mainly because of two reasons. First is because they are very inexpensive (these blushers are only 88.00 pesos each!) and second is because of it's pretty great quality considering the price. Some people might find this screw-on cap type of packaging a bit of a hassle but for me it's just fine. I actually find this kind of packaging really appealing!

The pigmentation is pretty great (again, considering the price), not super pigmented nor under pigmented. The texture isn't that smooth (but very blendable and buildable) which I believe some of you might not like. As for its staying power, in my case it lasts for around 4-5 hours which I think is already not bad especially for a drugstore / local brand. The only downside of this product though is that since the texture is powdery, it is very prone to fall-outs so you have to really be careful when tapping or swirling your brush onto the product. Overall, I find these blushes from Nichido really worth the money. These are perfect for those who are looking for affordable yet good quality "everyday-kind-of" blush as it applies really well and lasts for quite a long time!

ReplyDeleteI like the coral looking color... it's a great color... I don't use blushers too often so this is good way to try it out for a small price :)
ReplyDeleteThe way you took pictures is really cool! Hahaha I don't usually use a blush but when I do, it should be a pink. lol but since these nichido blushes are so cheap then I might as well give it a try. :)
