As usual, my schedule is still so so busy but I'm not complaining. I consider being busy a blessing since you know, not all people got the chance to have tons of opportunity like work and stuff. But as you can see, inspite of my busy schedule I still have managed to update my blog and post product reviews. For this post, let me share to you all my thoughts about the Revlon Nearly Naked Pressed Powder which I was fortunate enough to receive for trial and review purposes. I actually had this for quite a long time now so obviously, this review is so beyond overdue. But, as they say, "better late than never" right?
Let’s begin with the packaging; for me the packaging of this one is just so-so. I mean, it doesn't look classy but not cheap either. It comes with a mirror and a small (would've been better if bigger) sponge inside which I think is perfect especially for quick touch-ups. The Revlon Nearly Naked Pressed Powder is very, very sheer and the coverage it gives is light to medium so if you're looking for a powder that has the power to cover all your skin imperfections, this isn't the best choice. However, if you’re looking for a foundation that has the power to slightly even out your skin tone and keep your skin looking fresh and very natural then consider trying this one.

As for the texture, it is actually really good. It is finely milled and isn't gritty nor does it feel powdery so it blends beautifully smooth into the skin. The staying power of this powder is also pretty good, it helped control the oiliness of my face for approximately 3-4 hours which I think is a pretty decent period of time but of course, would have been better if longer. Overall, I really liked this foundation. If you are looking for a new pressed powder that feels lightweight and smooth especially this summer then this is what I would highly recommend. Have you tried the Revlon Nearly Naked Pressed Powder? What’s your experience?

I've been wanting to try this for a while already! I like letting my foundation or BB cream do all the coverage work, along with my concealer, so I tend to use powders that are light to just set everything or else I'll look too cakey. I only use heavier or full coverage powders when I'm only wearing a tinted moisturizer or nothing else underneath.
ReplyDeleteI was hesitant to give this product a try thanks for sharing your impressive review you convince me to try it out.

This powder sounds interesting. I'm stuck in a bit of a rut with my Rimmel one so I might give it a try!
