Those puffiness and bags under your eyes which makes you look so tired and older that what you really are is caused by a variety of factors such as heredity, illness, lack of sleep or stress. In order to treat and eliminate those eye bags effectively, you first have to figure out what causes them and the best way to do so is to consult to your doctor. Today, I am sharing some of the easiest, all-natural and most effective ways on how to get rid of those not-so cute eye bags.
Cucumber - This must be the oldest and the most classic trick in the book of beauty. Applying two slices of fresh refrigerated cucumber to your eyes for 25 minutes (more or less) helps reduce puffiness. This remedy also helps to get rid of the wrinkles and helps brighten up the complexion on the corners of your eyes.
Green (or black) Tea Bags - If you're in a hurry and don't want to go with droopy eyes, then chilled tea bags are the way to go. You just need to steep two bags of green / black tea bags in hot water and refrigerate them for a while. Then place them over your eyes for about 25-30 minutes. this method is so effective because it utilizes caffeine, which helps to shrink the blood vessels under your eyes while the coldness helps reduce the swelling / puffiness.
Potatoes - Cut chilled raw potato into thin slices and then place them over your eyes for about 10-15 minutes. Potatoes are able to stay cool for a long period of time and the application to the skin allows them to transfer their nutrients and antioxidant properties which helps nourish the skin around your eyes.
Cold Spoons - Chill four to six stainless steel spoons in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes. Place the round portion of the spoon over your eyes for a few minutes or until it gets warm. As the spoon warms, replace it with a cold one from the freezer. This will help tighten the skin around your eyes and keep the blood vessels relaxed.
Water, Water, Water - The dark circles under your eyes are probably caused by dehydration so drink as much water as possible. Be sure to have at least eight ounces of water everyday and don't substitute sodas, coffees or any sugary drinks. Also, try to stay away from salty food as much as possible since they can make you dehydrated easily.
Do you know any other easy ways to get rid of eye bags? If you do, please let me know using the comment section below.

These are really great tips for me since my eyes have been a bit swollen with black dull baggies underneath :( I've heard green tea and cucumbers are the best antidotes for these tedious baggies but not yet potatoes, definitely gonna try it out cause they're the only thing available in my kitchen now hahah Thanks for sharing and have a great week, Kenny xx
